Healthy Landscapes Program

PRISM’s Invasive Management Specialists are here to help

Our team of Invasive Management Specialists (IMS) services parks, neighborhood associations, and 3+ acre properties across 12 counties in the northern Blue Ridge region of Virginia, including Albemarle, Augusta, Clarke, Fauquier, Greene, Loudoun, Madison, Nelson, Rappahannock, Rockingham, Page, and Warren.

PRISM’s Healthy Landscapes Program begins with a site visit. These last approximately two (2) hours and can be done with or without the owner present. There is no charge for this service. During a site visit, our IMS will walk your property and identify and document the invasive plants found.

Invasive plants are photographed, geotagged, and pinned to a map showing the path followed, and recorded in your site visit file.

Based on the findings and site conditions, our IMS will provide a comprehensive report detailing site-specific recommendations for prioritizing your invasive plant removal work. You’ll receive a customized management calendar showing the plant species identified and the most effective methods and timing for control. Also included are a list of resources, including contractors and assistance programs.

The map shows numbered holes from 1 to 22, with dotted lines indicating the hole routes and arrows showing the direction to the next hole. Blue boundary lines outline the course, and there is a scale at the bottom right indicating 100 feet.

“Blue Ridge PRISM’s site visit was a game-changer! Our HOA now has a clear plan and the confidence to take action. We’re excited to make a real difference in our landscape!”
